I just noticed my cat is squinting a little in one eye. If I hold a toy in the air she’ll open both eyes wide to look at it. I examined the eye, but there is no sign of a foreign object or abrasion on the cornea

For six months now I’ve been dealing with a cat that has kidney disease.

My 3 year old, neutered male cat has these two very small brown-ish spots in the periphery of his left eye,I have just noticed it…I am pretty sure it was never there. I’m worrying if it could be an abrasion or a cataract or something…..but he isn’t showing any signs of discomfort or watering or any of that

by Matthew Penrod I remember growing up in the country. Everyone around us owned a dog, and there wasn’t much traffic to worry about. There was a lot of space between homes and plenty of fields and woods for roaming.

There’s a huge longhaired tom hanging out around my partner’s parents house. He’s got a horrible case of ear mites and he’s got these abrasions on his face and ears, not to mention his fur is matting and he’s got a collar on that seems to be eroding. I’d estimate that he’s 5-8 years old.

My pets are constantly scratching, I have found fleas on them and on our carpet. Are there any natural home remedies we could use instead of the chemicals in the products you get from Vets.

Many of us these days like to supplement our traditional medication with alternative therapies. It seems that for every medication you read about, there is some horrible side effect that is possible, and some of us have been unfortunate enough to suffer from some of these side effects, so it is only natural for us to look for alternatives to filling our bodies with yet more chemicals.

I’m sitting in a house so quiet that I can hear the tick of a clock. I love it.  Every now and then the wind chimes kick up a bit, rumor has it that a quick shower is headed our way.  At the moment though, the sun is shining and the cats have found their favorite sunbeam to sleep in.  It’s a good morning.  I have nothing on the agenda today that must be done.  Is there any better feeling

Everyone always answers these cat questions “Take it to the vet”, like its not an obvious solution. I can not afford to take 16 cats to the vet.
